FOCUS: Firearms Orientation, Confidence, Utility & Safety

Take your first step into firearms training with FOCUS—a structured, beginner-friendly course designed to build confidence, safety, and foundational shooting skills in a supportive environment.

This course is built for new shooters or those looking to establish a solid baseline before advancing. Through a combination of classroom instruction and live-fire application, students will gain a clear understanding of safe firearm handling and the core principles of effective shooting.

What You’ll Learn:

Students will learn fundamental firearm safety rules and safe handling practices, proper range etiquette and expectations, and the core shooting fundamentals including grip, sight alignment, and trigger control. The course also focuses on building confidence through guided, supervised live-fire practice while reinforcing the importance of safety and responsibility at every step.

Our instructors focus on creating a safe, structured learning environment where every student can progress at their own pace and leave with increased confidence and capability.

Equipment: All necessary equipment will be provided by Vandalia Range and Armory, including hearing protection, eye protection, ammunition, and rental firearms. If you would like to bring your own gun please email us at training@forcefrontier.com ahead of time.

Whether you’re completely new to firearms or looking to build a strong, safe foundation, FOCUS delivers a professional, approachable introduction to responsible firearm ownership and use.

1. Review and complete the Force Frontier training waiver. The attendee must have the waiver completed before the course starts in order to participate.
2. After enrolling, be on the look out for an email with details of the course.
3. If you need to cancel, you can get a full refund for any course if you cancel at least 7 days before the course is scheduled to start, or within 24 hours of purchase. Partial refunds may be provided in some situations. Contact us with any questions.
